• Responsible for initial review and triage of claims. • Determines coverage and verifies eligibility. • Promotes communication to enhance effectiveness of medical management services. • Performs non-medical research and support. • Maintains accurate and complete documentation.
Requirements
• Effective communication, telephonic and organization skills. • Familiarity with basic medical terminology and concepts used in care. • Coordination of service delivery with sensitivity to issues. • Proactive identification and resolution of issues. • Computer literacy including Excel and Microsoft Word. • Ability to participate in a multi-disciplinary team.
