Description

• Maintain a solid understanding of Danaher’s Life Sciences Operating Companies • Counsel and execute on intellectual property licensing • Develop an understanding of the intellectual property landscape • Align IP licensing strategies with Danaher business and strategic plans • Negotiate, draft and review license agreements and other agreements • Build collaborative relationships within the Life Sciences legal team

Requirements

• An advanced degree in biological science, microbiology, molecular biology or relevant field • Juris Doctor with excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school • Active bar membership in good standing in at least one US jurisdiction • A minimum of 10 years of intellectual property legal experience • Experience drafting and negotiating IP-related agreements • Experience in a matrixed organization • Admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (a plus)
