Description

• Lead the development and implementation of robust data governance frameworks, policies, and best practices across client organizations. • Drive initiatives in data lifecycle management, establishing strategies for data retention, archiving, and secure disposal. • Conduct risk assessments and advise clients on data security strategies, ensuring alignment with both regulatory requirements and organizational goals. • Provide thought leadership in data governance and cybersecurity by staying current on industry trends, frameworks, and emerging threats. • Mentor and support junior consultants, offering guidance on best practices and fostering a collaborative work environment. • Work closely with client executives to communicate data governance strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in data governance, data security, risk management, or cybersecurity consulting, with demonstrated expertise in client-facing roles. • Advanced understanding of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK), data lifecycle management, and security protocols. • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) and their implications on data security and governance. • Demonstrated leadership experience in consulting projects with a track record of successful client engagement. • Certifications such as CDMP, CISA, CISSP, or similar preferred but not required.
