📋 Description

• DCG is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support the company’s financial operations at the program and enterprise levels. • This position will work closely with program managers and senior executives across all areas of the company to ensure DCG’s fiscal strength and stability. • This individual will leverage experience in full-cycle federal contract accounting environment and a comprehensive understanding of GAAP to execute critical financial operations while enabling long-term planning and reporting. • The ideal candidate will blend demonstrated accounting and business analysis skills with excellent attention to detail and a positive, flexible attitude. • Note: The expected level of effort for this role is up to 40 hours per week, and the compensation will be hourly and thus ineligible for DCG's full benefits package. • Fully Remote; the selected candidate will work during DCG’s core Eastern Daylight Time business hours.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field • 7+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting with at least 4 years in federal government contract accounting processes • Proficiency in financial software and tools (Unanet experience strongly desired) • Experience with Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) and DCAA compliance requirements • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively in a fast-paced environment • Ability to identify, communicate, mitigate, and manage risk
