Description

•At Degreed, we believe that learning is the key to unlocking opportunities. •Degreed is seeking a seasoned sales leader to lead our expansion into the APAC region. •The success in this role is defined by pipeline generation, new logo acquisition, and the ability to upsell and cross-sell through effective account management. •This position requires close collaboration with various teams, including Alliances and Partnerships, Global Business Solutions, Client Success, and Field Marketing. •The role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring you to lead sales initiatives while also building and managing a high-performing, diverse team. •As the senior-most commercial leader in the region, you will be proactive and highly visible in the market, providing thought leadership to advance Degreed's go-to-market (GTM) strategy in APAC. •You will be accountable for taking key referenceable customers in APAC and using their strength to scale revenue, growing your team and responsibilities alongside your success. •Reporting directly to the SVP of Global Sales, you will work closely to execute the broader APAC growth and expansion strategy. •Your operational leadership, sales expertise, and customer-facing skills will be instrumental in achieving business objectives. •Additionally, your ability to recruit, develop, and retain top-tier talent will be critical to building a world-class team that drives success across the region.

Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. •10+ years of experience in large enterprise software sales motion. •Proven track record in managing prospect and client relationships to navigate complex scope conversations with positive outcomes for enterprise clients. •Ability to create and present compelling action plans based on metrics, data, and client history. •Experience with value engineering, Challenger, MEDDPICC in selling in large enterprise environments. •Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, from individual contributors to C-Suite, and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. •Strong experience working remotely with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, marketing, product, operations, engineering, legal, finance). •Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to drive growth. •High emotional intelligence and strong leadership capabilities. •Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire team members. •Proven expertise in recruiting, developing, and retaining top-tier sales talent. •Strong sense of ownership and accountability. •Willingness and ability to travel as required. •Preferred experience in human capital technology and knowledge of the APAC territory. •Exceptional professional presence and business acumen. •Commitment to ethical leadership, sustainability, and fostering an inclusive, diverse team culture.
