• We are looking for Senior Level Designers to join our teams working on Warframe and Soulframe. • You will play a key role in designing immersive worlds, compelling encounters and engaging gameplay experiences. • Design and Implement Levels – Conceptualize, block out, and refine engaging, high-quality game levels that align with the vision of either Warframe or Soulframe. • Collaborate Across Teams – Work closely with artists, programmers, and other designers to ensure levels are visually stunning, technically sound, and mechanically engaging. • Scripting & Gameplay Integration – Utilize Lua and in-editor scripting tools to implement interactive elements, pacing, enemy encounters, and environmental storytelling. • Gameplay Balancing & Iteration – Playtest and refine levels based on internal feedback and data to ensure smooth flow, challenge, and engagement. • Technical & Artistic Considerations – Optimize levels while respecting artistic direction and technical constraints. • Problem-Solving – Troubleshoot and resolve gameplay, scripting, or performance issues within levels • Mentorship (Senior Level Only) – Provide guidance, feedback, and support to junior designers where applicable. • Other responsibilities as assigned.
• 3 - 5+ years of experience in level design for AAA as a Level designer • Strong understanding of level layout, pacing, and encounter design for action-based or immersive games. • Experience with Lua or other scripting languages (C#, Python, etc.). • Proficiency in 3D world-building tools and a keen eye for environmental storytelling. • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment. • Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability
