Description
• Oversee accounting professionals across U.S. headquarters and branches in India, Ethiopia, and Kenya • Establish consistent accounting policies and procedures • Develop a robust system of internal controls • Implement a unified global accounting system • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes • Prepare comprehensive financial statements • Lead accounting team and foster collaboration
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a global senior accounting role • At least 3 years of experience in a non-profit global organization • Demonstrated expertise in U.S. GAAP • Strong understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS preferred) • Proven experience with implementing and managing global accounting systems • Hands-on experience with SAGE Intacct is a plus • Experience with financial statement consolidation processes with working knowledge of multi-entity and multi-currency accounting standards • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong communication skills
