• Are you seeking a role that combines your passion for music and storytelling with the evolving world of record collecting? • You are a solid designer who cares deeply about a community of devoted fans. • You enjoy taking projects from ideation to go to market fruition. • A keen eye and creative mindset are key traits of yours. • While we are a remote company we can only hire from the following areas: WA, OR, CA, TX, CO, IL • Starting base salary range: $80,000 - 89,000 yearly • Discogs is the largest crowd-sourced, community-driven database of recorded music information in the world. • Every day, millions of people use the Discogs Marketplace to connect, learn about music, and buy and sell vinyl records, CDs, and cassettes. • We're reimagining our mobile app to be the ultimate companion for music lovers and record collectors worldwide. • As a Mobile UX Designer, you'll play a crucial role in bringing this vision to life, crafting an intuitive and engaging experience that delights our users at every step of their record collecting journey.

Requirements

• Minimum Education and Experience • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university, or equivalent work experience • 3+ years related work experience (design experience.) • Experience with web, mobile and responsive design • Experience in user research and usability testing. • Understanding of designing within complex legacy systems • Experience with prototyping design tools such as Figma. • Design Skills: Expertise in crafting user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI design skills displayed in high-fidelity mockups. • Expertise: Deep understanding of UX principles, user-centered design practices, and interaction design. • Technical: Experience with design systems. Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. • Accessibility: Working knowledge of accessibility standards or enthusiasm to learn and implement them. • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a passion for designing beautiful, modern, and user-friendly experiences. • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. • Mobile-Specific Skills & Experience • Mobile Design Experience: Proven experience as a Mobile UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing mobile app design projects. • Platform Knowledge: Ability to design for both iOS and Android platforms, with a strong understanding of platform guidelines and responsive design. • Nice to Have's • Experience in e-commerce. • Familiarity with animation and motion design. • Passion for music and knowledge of record collecting.
