• Discord is used by over 200 million people every month for many different reasons, but there’s one thing that nearly everyone does on our platform: play video games. • This position is US-based only. • As a Sr. Product Marketing Manager for Developer Programs, your mission will be to define and execute programs that encourage and enable developers to effectively use Discord’s social platform for the growth and success of their games and apps. • You’ll quarterback cross-functional teams to execute from launch to ongoing program operations to promote adoption, growth, and engagement within the Developer ecosystem to deliver on business goals. • Why Discord? • Discord plays a uniquely important role in the future of gaming. Requirements

• 7+ years of product marketing experience, including 3+ years of experience with a developer audience. • A deep empathy for Developers and passion for Discord’s mission and the role Developers have to play in the growth of the business. • A strategic thinker who is curious, resilient, goal-oriented with a bias for action, and can look at the big picture to connect dots and create clarity in an often ambiguous environment. • An exceptional communicator who creates clarity for internal and external customers through intentional, organized verbal and written communication. • The ability to lead effectively through influence and comfortable working cross-functionally across the entire business, catalyzing and inspiring teams to align with a common goal and do their best work. • Stellar writing and content creation skills, including compelling video scripts, and articles for user education. • A growth mindset. Someone who views learning as a lifelong journey and is constantly looking to expand their tools and knowledge to become a better version of themselves.
