Description

• The Senior Expert Controls Engineer will be responsible for the life cycle of the project, from the concepting and estimating, design and programming phase, onsite commissioning, and support. • You will serve as the senior controls engineer for that project and interact with various engineering disciplines, and customers.

Requirements

• PLC programming: (Expert level knowledge in Rockwell required, Siemens, Schneider or other is expected) • MUST be able to code, build, test, architect sortation code from scratch. • HMI Programming: Expert level experience in one of the following (FactoryTalk View, FT Optix , Ignition, Wonderware, Indusoft) • 5-10+ years’ experience in a controls engineering or R&D controls development role. • Knowledge of AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical • Knowledge of 480vac 3-phase power, 120vac and 24VDC controls circuits • Knowledge of Industrial communication networks (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, etc.) • Designs interfaces to devices such as network I/O, variable frequency drives, servos, camera/laser scanner ID systems and scales. • Customizing standard products to meet the requirements of each project • Configures interfaces to WCS, WES, or other forms of host software systems based on customer requirements • Configuring standard PLC programs for real-time control of automated equipment and collection of diagnostic and production data.
