Description

• Lead strategic initiatives for OLIPOP's product claims and innovation. • Collaborate across teams to enhance scientific substantiation. • Build and manage the Medical and Scientific Affairs Dept. • Develop a roadmap for food as medicine reimbursement initiatives. • Engage registered dietitians for community outreach programs. • Oversee clinical trial programs for digestive and metabolic health. • Provide leadership and oversee departmental scorecards. • Communicate scientific concepts to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in microbiology, nutrition, epidemiology, or biochemistry preferred. • Requires at least 10+ years of prior management or experience leading R&D teams. • Excellent strategic planning skills. • Excellent analytical, problem solving and scientific reasoning skills. • Knowledge of regulatory and claims landscape related to microbiome, digestive or metabolic health. • Experience running in-vitro and human clinical trial studies.... • Strong negotiation, verbal reasoning, scientific and technical knowledge. • Prior experience working in consumer packaged goods with retail channel-oriented business focus is preferred. • Strong ability to build consensus.
