Description

• Support and work closely with senior management on all legal, regulatory and business matters • Work with outside legal counsel • Assist the General Counsel on all company legal, regulatory and business matters • Perform legal research, review, and prepare contracts • Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings • Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys • Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients • Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently • Perform legal research to support senior attorneys • Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and motions • Participate in client meetings and legal consultations • Assist in the preparation of legal opinions and advice

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship Required • JD degree from an accredited law school • Must have passed the bar exam • Must be able to work well with others in a fast-paced team environment • Self-motivated with a high sense of professional ethics and integrity • Working knowledge of contracts, transactional, and general corporate and business areas • Must have good research and writing skills • Excellent English and communication skills, both oral and written • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
