Description

• The Sr. Business Analyst is an experienced team member on a project team responsible for analyzing and designing new business processes. • The Sr. Business Analyst will lead requirement gathering sessions with customer business team(s) and collaborate with other stakeholders (internal as well as external). • Responsible for documenting customer requirements. • Responsible for providing solutions/workarounds for functionality gaps in various claims system modules. • Assist junior Business Analyst(s), QA team members, technical team member to bridge any gaps in functional knowledge/understanding. • Responsible for successfully completing requirement gathering phase and helping project team with any functional queries. • Lead integration requirement sessions from functional side (Address Verification, CLUE, ISO etc.). • Participate in annual performance evaluation process for assigned reportees. • Act as a mentor/guide for career progression for the reportees. • Work closely with Application Architect, Technical Architect and Solution Architect to provide estimates for new project opportunities. • Active participation in project planning/Sprint Planning & User Story estimates. • Ensure coordination among team members to get the work done on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience, preferably in a similar role. • Experience interfacing with customers, including customer presentations. • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. • Extensive Experience in requirements gathering, identifying gaps, estimating, implementation, test planning and execution, and User Acceptance Testing definition and execution. • Extensive Experience translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for assembly, product, and user acceptance testing. • Experience/knowledge of P&C Insurance software applications. • Experience/knowledge of software development life cycle for P&C insurance software. • Experience of agile methodology. • Travel: 25-50%. • Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the country of the job location.
