• About Us: Founded more than 15 years ago and headquartered in Chicago, DV Trading has rapidly scaled as an independent proprietary trading firm. • Overview: We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to secure, monitor, and maintain our corporate network infrastructure. • Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud networks. • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls, IPS, IDS, and other network security devices. • Monitor security alerts, responding to security incidents in a timely manner. • Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and best practices. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure integration of new applications and services into the network. • Stay updated on the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and emerging technologies to proactively mitigate threats.

Requirements

• Experience in network security engineering or related field. • Proficiency in firewall management and network security protocols. • Experience with Juniper and Palo Alto firewalls is highly preferred. • Experience with capturing, analyzing, and interpreting network packet captures. • Experience with designing, implementing, and troubleshooting site-to-site and client-based VPNs. • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including routing, switching, and NAT. • Experience with dynamic routing protocols. • Hands-on experience with IDS/IPS, SIEM tools, and network monitoring tools. • Knowledge of encryption technologies, authentication protocols, and threat detection methods. • Familiarity with cloud security concepts related to AWS, Azure, and GCP is a plus. • Experience with SD-WAN solutions and cloud network security. • Familiarity with automation and scripting (Python, Ansible) for network tasks. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
