📋 Description

• This position can be 100% remote, but must be located in the United States. • Dynavax is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company developing and commercializing novel vaccines. • We operate with the highest level of quality, integrity and safety for public health. • Our proprietary CpG 1018 adjuvant powers our diversified infectious vaccine portfolio. • This position will oversee and direct accounting, external financial reporting, enterprise risk management, and procurement/accounts payable. • The position leads the finance department of the company’s German subsidiary and acts as a liaison with the Audit Committee and external auditor.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years' progressive career experience in accounting/finance with 3+ years in life science industry at publicly traded company. • CPA required. • Robust technical experience evaluating accounting and tax treatment for complex transactions. • Robust understanding and oversight experience on tax strategy. • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with senior executives and employees at all levels. • Proven ability to effectively lead and manage finance professionals. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Expertise in using all Microsoft Office products including Excel. • Integrity and impeccable ethics are absolute requirements. • Ability to sit; stand; walk; reach with arms and hands; lift and move small objects; and use hands to keyboard and perform other office related tasks. • Occasional travel required, as needed.
