Description
• Design, development, testing and support of on premise and cloud-based software, system and/or information solutions • Support the analysis, design and development of high volume, low latency applications for mission critical systems delivering high-availability and performance • Write well designed, testable, efficient code to support varied IT solutions • Collaborate with other IT specialists to rapidly develop and deliver stunning solutions • Effectively communicate development and production issues to the project team • Research and stay abreast of technology trends and IT best practices
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required) • 5+ years of experience in related field • In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field • Experience in Java-J2EE-EJB, WebSphere/Liberty Application Server, Eclipse/IntelliJ/VS Code, FACETS, SQL: Oracle/Db2/SQL Server, GIT/GITHUB • Experience in cloud application development, specifically REST services – familiar with Docker, Jenkins, AWS, OpenShift 4.s and Micro Services frameworks such as MicroProfile / Spring Boot
