Description

• Develop Technical Specifications: Create comprehensive documentation outlining proposed solutions for customer needs and business rules, covering system architecture, feature details, performance metrics, and integration points. • Maintain Product Knowledge: Stay up to date on EasyPost's product features, capabilities, and limitations to ensure accuracy in technical documentation and solution representation. • Create Clear and Visual Documentation: Compose well-organized technical specifications, incorporating diagrams, charts, and visuals to facilitate understanding for diverse audiences. • Provide Technical Expertise: Collaborate during solution design phases, offering technical insights that contribute to the development of optimal solutions tailored to customer requirements. • Support Account Growth: Work closely with the Customer Success Management (CSM) team to identify opportunities for growth within customer accounts. • Build and Maintain Customer Relationships: Establish strong, long-term relationships with customers, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations, even in challenging situations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree • 8+ years of related experience, master’s degree and 6+ years of related experience, or equivalent related work experience. • The candidate must possess excellent writing and communication skills. • The candidate must have experience in owning and building an end to end documentation process. • Understanding of Databases, RESTful APIs, and interpreting XML and JSON requests/responses. • Ability to handle communication with multiple internal teams. • Ability to tailor technical communication with all levels of customer understanding. • Ability to comprehend complex programming code. • Willingness to adapt to an evolving work environment. • Customer facing experience with a customer first attitude. • Past experience in pre-sales and or being the designer for an implementation is a huge plus. • Experience in the shipping industry and being familiar with carriers as well as different shipping requirements around international, hazmat, hundred weight, etc.
