Description

• Lead electrical engineering design activities on major projects in the United States • Ability to lead projects in Utah, Arizona, Nevada, California, Texas, Colorado, and Virginia • Design, model, and simulate electrical systems for hyperscale and AI data centers • Develop electrical systems including power distribution, UPS, standby generators, and security systems • Prepare engineering calculations, schematic designs, and detailed designs • Create technical documentation for project execution, including design criteria and specifications • Collaborate with architects and engineers to coordinate BIM models and resolve conflicts • Review shop drawings and ensure compliance with engineering codes and safety standards • Use BIM tools to virtually construct electrical systems and coordinate with other disciplines • Manage and coordinate projects, including on-site supervision • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress • Utilize laser scanning technology to document installation states

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience, preferably in the construction industry • Experience with data center projects or other large-scale industrial projects is a plus but not required • Proficiency in BIM software (Autodesk Revit), CAD modeling tools, and other relevant engineering software (ETAB, SKM) • Strong understanding of electrical systems design, including power distribution, UPS systems, standby generators, and security systems • Must be licensed in the US with current requirements for Texas, Virginia, California, and Colorado • Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills • Strong project management abilities, including the coordination and supervision of on-site activities • Willingness to travel frequently to client sites • Ability to work from home • Authorization to work in the United States
