Description
• Collaborate with senior engineering leadership to develop and execute strategic plans and drive change. • Serve as a trusted advisor to the engineering leadership team, providing insights, analysis, and recommendations to drive decision-making and facilitate efficient operations. • Lead and manage cross-functional engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including engineering teams, product management, R&D, and manufacturing, to align priorities, resources, and goals. • Establish and maintain project management processes, tools, and best practices to optimize project execution and drive continuous improvement. • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, and risk assessments. • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies impacting project delivery and work proactively to mitigate them. • Monitor project progress and performance metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior leadership. • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the engineering organization. • Support various team activities including but not limited to creating board slides, assisting in customer meetings, and other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred. • Proven experience in project management or related role. • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects from concept to delivery. • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders. • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Power BI etc.). • PMP or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
