β’ As a 3D Environment Artist for Eleventh Hour Games, you will be responsible for crafting high and low poly 3D models for Environment working closely with our Art Department and Level Design team β’ This role is ideal for someone who has a keen eye for level layout and details, with great sculpting and texturing skills, extensive expertise on Environment pipeline, Trim Sheets, Modularity and material creation β’ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal are essential for this position. β’ Build high and low resolution models, including hard surface and organic, UVs, textures and materials for Environment based on detailed concepts β’ Maintain a clean workflow from high poly to textured and rendered assets, following production guidelines β’ Organize and track tasks in the pipeline β’ Conceptualize, present and execute ideas within time and technical constraints while actively participating in artistic, creative and technical, problem-solving
β’ 5+ years of 3D Environment Artist experience both in hard surface modeling and organic shapes, sculpting high fantasy epic manmade environments β’ High proficiency level with: ZBrush, Substance Painter, Designer, Unity, 3D Max or Maya and Photoshop β’ Professional knowledge/experience with environment creation pipelines and workflows for game development, using trim sheets, modularities, tri planar material creation β’ Experience creating vegetation assets β’ Strong environmental composition skills using art principles with game design β’ Implement, iterate, and review assets in-engine β’ Collaborate with the art and design teams to ensure environments support gameplay mechanics and narrative β’ Experience with many different methods for creating a game world including modular systems and usage of procedural tools β’ Excellent knowledge of how to manage content for games in an optimized and performant manner β’ Ability to break down barriers with visual design and create bridges between concept and model β’ Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
