Requirements

• Degree in electrical engineering, power systems engineering, or a related field (preferred). • Minimum 7 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, with a strong focus on interconnection. • Proven track record of successfully navigating the interconnection process for large-scale renewable energy projects. • Possessing a deep knowledge of how DERs interact with the grid, including technical challenges and mitigation strategies. • In-depth knowledge of power system modeling, analysis, distribution and transmission planning, and interconnection standards. • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with utility and transmission system operator professionals. • Adept at synthesizing interconnection studies in order to identify the most important risks and/or opportunities. • Experience leading and managing a team of technical professionals. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Passion for renewable energy and a commitment to building a sustainable future. • Expert judgment, analysis and analytic skills. • Ability to read technical utility studies and project documents/prints/schematics • Self-motivated and well organized with proven ability to perform at a high level with limited direct oversight and management; • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment; • Demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines; • A high degree of emotional intelligence; • Team player - willingness to pitch in across the organization; • High level of organization and tech savvy;
