Description
• Ensures the competency of Clinical Documentation Specialist (CDS) staff. • Participates in quality assurance reviews and skills assessments. • Develops policies and procedures for the CDI program. • Collaborates with internal and client leadership on action plans. • Oversees daily operations of Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) associates.
Requirements
• Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) preferred. • Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) preferred. • Minimum of two years CDI experience. • Acute care experience or similar clinical setting. • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. • Ability to organize and present information clearly and concisely.
