📋 Description
• Oversee relationships and performance of IT Manage Service Providers and various vendors and partners. • Provide leadership for IT Suppliers that aligns with the mission of the vendor management office (VMO). • Manage the maintenance/enhancement of tools for vendor management, including tracking and performance management tools. • Serve as the leadership-level point of contact between vendors and internal customers.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or 15+ years of equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree. • 5+ years of experience in IT vendor management, procurement, or a similar role. • Strong knowledge of IT vendor management methodologies, tools, and best practices. • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. • Ability to manage multiple IT vendors and partners in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. • Ability to analyze and report on IT vendor and partner performance and outcomes. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
