Requirements

•Category Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy for paper and disposable products, aligning with organizational objectives and ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and sustainability. •Supplier Management: Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring the best terms for pricing, delivery, quality, and service. Build strong partnerships to foster long-term collaboration and continuous improvement. •Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends, price fluctuations, and new product innovations. Adjust the category strategy as needed to maintain a competitive edge. •Cost Optimization: Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve margins, and ensure maximum value for the company. •Inventory Management: Collaborate with the supply chain team to maintain optimal inventory levels of paper and disposable products, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries and minimizing stockouts or overstock situations. •Product Selection & Innovation: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, operations, etc.) to select new paper and disposable products that meet customer needs, quality standards, and sustainability goals. •Sustainability Initiatives: Incorporate sustainability best practices into category management by sourcing eco-friendly products, reducing waste, and promoting responsible sourcing policies. •Performance Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the category, including cost savings, supplier performance, inventory turnover, and on-time delivery, and report results to senior leadership. •Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams (sales, operations, and finance) to ensure alignment on category goals and objectives, and to address any supply chain challenges or product-related issues.
