📋 Description

• Bring your passion for creating engaging and approachable content to a dynamic and influential team at Esri. • The documentation writing team is looking for an experienced, creative, and hard-working writer to create reference help documentation, blog articles, videos, guides, and tutorials about ArcGIS Field Maps and other field apps. • In this role as a product engineering writer, you will work closely with teams across Esri to communicate and demonstrate best practices about field operations, mobile workflows, and web mapping. • We are looking for individuals who have a strong planning, problem-solving, and analytical mindset. • Those who can translate complex ideas into clear and compelling messages within established deadlines are well-suited for this role.

🎯 Requirements

• Portfolio Submission: Writing samples of your recent work • 5+ years of professional writing experience related to field apps or GIS; ideally a blended background including technical and creative writing • Exposure to web-based content management systems to create and publish documents • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise, compelling content • Effective time management and organizational skills; work proactively and volunteer assistance without being asked and under tight turnaround • Demonstrated ability to thrive in an agile environment with a fluid mix of collaborative and independent work • Bachelors in GIS, geography, computer science, English, or related field • Visa sponsorship is not available for this posting.
