Description
• Provides services designed to assist with application of computer technology to solve clinical, financial, and patient data problems. • Applications analysts are technical experts in operation configuration, customization, and/or development of solutions. • Responsibilities include developing, testing, and documenting computer programs for special requirements and customizing purchased packages. • Implementing/installing new programs/systems and providing support to user departments on various systems. • Requires high level of customer service skills to enhance relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent field of study. • OR Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent field of study plus 2 years experience working as a Systems Analyst or in a Computer Programming related field. • OR 4 years of experience working as a Systems Analyst or in a Computer Programming related field.
