Description
• Responsible for resolving a high volume of accounts in a virtual call center environment. • Acts as the primary contact for patients to discuss outstanding self-pay balances, billing and insurance questions. • Provides support for insurance, coding, registration, financial assistance and other billing related issues. • Performs account analysis to evaluate, develop and implement action plans to educate guarantors. • May handle incoming patient mail and produce written correspondence in response to inquiries. • Requires exceptional customer service skills, de-escalation, payment negotiation, and patient education. • Utilizes various office equipment including computer, software applications, printer, FAX, multi-line telephone, and billing systems.
Requirements
• Experience with handling cash payments, self-pay collections and exceptional customer service skills. • Knowledge of utilizing office equipment such as computers, software applications, printer, FAX, copier, and billing programs • Experience in customer service, call center and/or collections
