Description

• Join the Marmalade Design System team at Eventbrite to build scalable user interfaces • Help maintain React and React Native design system libraries as brand evolves • Ensure Marmalade is stable and scalable for consumers as a core team member • Drive vision and strategy for the design system through research and coaching

Requirements

• Keen appreciation for design excellence and quality of design implementation in code • Expertise in the concepts behind design systems and their application in modern product development • Deep experience in CSS architecture and practices including web accessibility and standards • Deep experience with React, React Native, Typescript, SCSS, CSS Modules, Style Dictionary, and Storybook • Solid knowledge of the Node.js ecosystem for npm package development • Experience implementing testing for UI components to meet diverse audience standards • Experience working on a fast-paced, multi-person design system with Git and GitHub workflows • Experience working closely with designers to convert designs into code • Experience enhancing collaboration through tools like custom Figma plugins • Hands-on experience with build, test, release methods, and modern dev-ops practices • Pragmatic, collaborative, and open-minded outlook
