Description

• Oversee development, execution, and management of property insurance programs • Drive strategy for program development and oversight of partner underwriting teams • Ensure compliance with underwriting and corporate governance standards • Foster effective communication across departments • Work closely with executive leadership and functional areas • Deliver underwriting profitability by managing program partners • Identify areas for growth in delegated authority and digital distribution • Provide ongoing underwriting training and development of staff • Function as a subject matter expert for key industry verticals

Requirements

• 15+ years of Property underwriting experience • 10+ years of leadership or underwriting oversight experience • Deep knowledge of Property underwriting • Bachelor’s degree or greater • Exceptional oral and written communication skills • Strong problem-solving analytical skills • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines • Team oriented and ability to collaborate effectively • Demonstrated bias for action with urgency and strong work ethic • Experience with corporate governance and controls management • Experience with operational workflow including systems is an asset • Some travel, including overnight or extended trips
