Description

• Support the monthly and annual financial close activities, which include preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for areas such as prepaid expenses, other assets, and fixed assets. • Support management and accounting of the Corporate card program and employee expense reporting functions. • Perform regular and ad-hoc financial statement analysis, such as preparation of account analysis of balance sheet and income statements, investigation of variances to prior periods, and investigation of reconciliation variances. • Collaborate with operational departments to obtain data for interpreting key financial performance metrics. • Assist with the annual external audit, including preparation of deliverables for external auditors. • Assist the Accounts Payable functions as needed. • Assist in various special projects, which may include developing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of the financial close, implementation of system enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required. • CPA preferred. • 1-3 years public accounting experience or a combination of public and industry experience. • Experience in preparing and reviewing general ledgers and financial statements. • Experience with automated accounting systems. • Experience with MS Office Suite and strong proficiency with spreadsheets.
