Description

• About Extend: Modernizing the $100 billion-per-year protection plan industry. • About the Role: Manage fraud detection capabilities as part of Risk Analytics team. • Own the implementation of technologies to prevent and detect claim fraud. • Lead team of machine learning data scientists to develop models. • Partner with product, engineering, and operations teams for optimization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of work experience building and deploying machine learning systems into production • 2+ years experience mentoring and managing ML teams • Proven track record building fraud detection or risk assessment tools • Solid understanding of fundamental computer science concepts, software design best practices, software development lifecycle and common machine learning design patterns • Expertise in Python/R, SQL; experience with TypeScript/JavaScript is a plus • Strong people leadership skills; ability to develop top machine learning talent and leaders • Excellent stakeholder management, with a track record of working cross-functionally to deliver results • Empathy and humility
