Description

• Lead and manage cross-functional engineering teams across Fabric’s three product suites and shared services, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence. • Partner closely with the CTO and key stakeholders to develop and implement the engineering strategy that aligns with the Company’s business goals and product roadmap. • Oversee the technical design, architecture, development, and deployment of high-quality software solutions, ensuring scalability, security, compliance, and performance standards are met. • Collaborate with product management, design, and other teams to translate business needs into technical requirements, estimates, and clear delivery timelines. • Manage engineering resources and budget to optimize operational efficiency, while balancing the need for innovation and speed-to-market. • Actively recruit, mentor, and retain top-tier engineering talent, cultivating a high-performance culture. • Continuously improve our SDLC processes, improving predictability of delivery, driving test coverage, and ensuring high-quality and maintainable software. • Promote an environment that encourages continuous learning, technical growth, and the adoption of industry best practices. • Lead retrospectives and incorporate lessons learned into future development cycles. • Build and scale engineering processes, tools, and team structures to support Fabric's growth, including managing distributed teams (remote and international) and ensuring effective communication and collaboration across time zones.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. • Preferred experience in startup or enterprise healthcare including familiarity with compliance (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC2), EMR integrations, care delivery, and platforms supporting patients and providers. • Proven track record of building and managing multiple high-performing engineering teams (over 50+ headcount) simultaneously in a growth stage startup executing against continuously evolving roadmaps. • Experience managing remote and international teams preferred. • Deep understanding of software development methodologies, architectural patterns, and best practices. • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern software development tools and technologies. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
