Description

• Join a diverse, fun team passionate about creating healthier and more just communities as Faith in Place’s Wisconsin Outreach Director. • Lead an Outreach Team located across Wisconsin to equip and inspire diverse faith communities to be leaders for environmental justice. • Develop and implement a strategic Wisconsin statewide outreach plan at the beginning of the year. • Work with Wisconsin staff to successfully implement throughout the year. • Lead an energy efficiency incentive program for Houses of Worship to build brand and connections. • Partner with Green Team Director and Program Director for outreach materials. • Collaborate with Outreach staff in Indiana and Illinois. • Coach assigned Green Teams. • Manage regional outreach staff across Wisconsin. • Work with clergy, Houses of Worship, and seminaries for thought-leadership on environmental justice. • Advance Faith in Place and Faith in Place Action Fund’s policy campaigns throughout Wisconsin. • Provide content and stories to the Communications and Development Teams.

Requirements

• 10 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience. • Passion for faith-based environmental justice, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. • 5 years of experience directing and managing staff. • Demonstrable knowledge in energy efficiency programs and incentives for Houses of Worship. • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and deadlines. • Demonstrated experience in community engagement, organizing, outreach methodologies, and program or campaign implementation. • Excellent public speaking and interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and build relationships with stakeholders. • Up to date on Covid-19 Vaccinations or willing to be up to date by the hire date. • Candidate needs to reside in Wisconsin.
