Description
• F&G is looking to hire for a Sr. Life Underwriting Technical Specialist. • This position provides support to the Life Underwriting Team and Director. • Focus on post-issue management and innovations in Technical Underwriting. • Report to the Director, Underwriting Innovation. • Duties include analyzing underwriting results, metric reports preparation, and risk management support.
Requirements
• AA or Bachelor's degree in risk management, finance, or a business degree specializing in insurance preferred. • Relevant experience considered in lieu of a degree. • 3+ years experience supporting a Life Underwriting team. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products: WORD, Excel, Power Point. • Experience with analytical decision making and critical thinking. • Successful completion of coursework in basic life insurance risk concepts preferred. • Experience with advanced data reporting tools, Tableau and Pivot tables preferred.
