Description

• Build, develop, and grow partnerships vital to the project's success. • Manage the operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects in a matrix environment. • Oversee the development of projects from initiation to completion. • Manage projects through others, building capacity and supporting implementation of activities. • Provide guidance and monitoring for project staff, ensuring clarity over plans and priorities. • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management. • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals and strategic vision. • Coordinate development and delivery of project plans, documentation, training, presentations and budget proposals. • Identify and resolve project issues, implementing improvement plans to ensure projects stay on schedule and budget. • Manage development of project teams ensuring compliance with policies/procedures; develop and implement process improvement plans. • Identify partnerships, opportunities, and information to help achieve strategic goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or its International Equivalent in Knowledge/Information Services, Communications, Education, Environment, Health, Behavioral, Life/Social Sciences International Development, Human Development or Related Field. • Master’s degree or its international equivalent preferred. • Project Management (PM) Certification preferred. • Typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience (including 3+ years of line management experience) with projects management principles and practices. • Experience in multi-functional/matrix management and implementation. • Experience in monitoring and evaluation as well as strategic planning, capacity building and team management. • Prior work experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO) preferred.
