• As a Technical Accounting Consultant (TAC) you are responsible for providing technical expertise during the pre-sales process along with customer feedback to our product and marketing teams, using your expertise in lease accounting. • In partnership with the account executive, you will focus on understanding the customers’ business objectives to show them how our solutions can help them achieve their goals. • You will collaborate with sales, marketing, and product to share best practices and insights. • Sales Engineers at FinQuery are product experts that are great at communicating. • You are a self-starter and familiar with FinQuery’s accounting standards, products, clients, and partners. • In addition to focusing on new business growth you will participate in internal projects and represent FinQuery at internal and external industry events. • You are comfortable working with technology, have excellent communication skills, and are able to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner. • Reports to, Director of Sales
• Requires 1-3 busy seasons in an audit role, preferably at a Big 4 • 3+ years experience in an accountant position, audit experience is preferred • Strong understanding of FASB, GASB and IFRS guidelines • Strong understanding of lease accounting standards and FinQuery products and tools • Developing skills to achieve and exceed sales targets • Basic understanding of sales principles and techniques • Ability to conduct market research and analyze data • Comfortable engaging and working with all levels of personnel and a variety of departments - specifically accounting/finance/real estate • Confidently engages senior management and executive customer prospects to convey FinQuery's value proposition • Excellent listener that seeks to understand what a prospect/customer is trying to achieve rather than assuming • Fast learner, excited and willing to gain additional accounting knowledge and apply it on an ongoing basis • Great communication skills (presentation, verbal and written) • Enjoys a fast-paced environment and loves teamwork and collaboration
