β’ This is a remote position. β’ First Due, a quickly growing SaaS technology company providing an end-to-end software platform for Fire and EMS agencies, is searching for a Sales Development Representative (SDR). β’ The SDR will play a critical role in generating new revenue and developing new Sales pipelines to help meet aggressive Sales goals and deliver on the goal to make communities safer and better informed through best-in-class public safety technology. β’ Identify, nurture, and route quality leads for potential Canadian customers and in support of assigned Account Executive(s) and Account Associates (Aas) through emails, meetings and phone calls. β’ Support discovery with assigned agencies on their needs for end-to-end software solutions. β’ Maintain current understanding of public safety industry including software ecosystem, trends, performance indicators, competitive landscape, and business practices. β’ Other duties as assigned depending on Sales and business needs.
β’ 3+ years of sales experience, ideally within the public sector or a SaaS organization Public Safety software experience (preferably in Fire or Emergency Management) β’ Professional proficiency in French; must be able to conduct meetings, draft formal communications, and interact fluently with French-speaking clients or colleagues β’ Strong organization & communication skills with both customers and internal teams β’ Ability to lead, collaborate, and work autonomously in a fast-paced start-up team environment with a positive attitude β’ Precise attention to detail in written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills β’ Proficient with CRM, Microsoft Office and collaboration tools β’ Proven track record of achieving or exceeding quota goals β’ A strategic mind, someone who comes up with innovative ideas and then effectively executes said ideas to boost efficiency.
