Description

• VP of Engineering responsible for leading engineering team at FiscalNote. • Deliver high-quality, scalable, innovative products with best practices. • Align engineering efforts with business objectives through collaboration with cross-functional leaders. • Attract and develop top talent, building a robust technology stack. • Guide engineering organization through transformative changes. • Play a key role in shaping AI-enhanced products and platforms.

Requirements

• 15+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, leading technical initiatives and managing engineering teams in dynamic settings, preferably in SaaS environments. • Strong technical foundation, with deep knowledge of modern full-stack development practices, architectures, and tools, including JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Node.js, React.js), cloud-native environments (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS), and data services. • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships and engage in cross-functional collaboration while fostering collaboration between engineering and other teams. • Demonstrated expertise in budget management, strategic planning, and implementing engineering best practices • Track record of successful leadership successfully executing projects and proactively managing change in a complex and dynamic environment. • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a passion for creating an inclusive and innovative performance driven engineering culture.
