Description

• Provide Tier 1 support for IBM Z-Series and I-Series • Monitor IBM I-Series and Z-Series production environments • Process batch cycles and execute batch restarts • Monitor client data file transmissions • Provide clear information to on-call support • Create documentation of processes • Work across teams during service interruptions • Create tickets from alert messages • Work with clients and third-party vendors

Requirements

• 1+ year(s) of experience with JCL and IBM Mainframe consoles • Experience with ITIL ticket systems, BMC Remedy, and/or ServiceNow • Experience in IT support-oriented environments with established SLAs • Associate's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience • Experience in job scheduling with CA-7 and Control-M (great to have) • Experience with file transmission protocols, Connect Direct (NDM), and Sterling File Gateway (great to have)
