Description

• The Procurement Manager position's primary objective is to acquire services or goods while proactively developing and leading your team to provide best competitive advantage for various business units. • Collaborates with engineering team and distribution vendors to design create and deliver quotes of equipment and SaaS products to grow margin for the company. • Maintains a positive CSAT at or above 97%. • Manages the generation of quotes to build and grow procurement revenue to meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue targets. • Executes and drives adherence to purchasing strategies. • Reviews agreements and makes recommendations to mitigate business and contractual risk. • Tracks and reports key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. • Performs and implements corrective actions and preventative measures such as corrections or improvements to the Procurement teams’ processes. • Provides on-going guidance to the internal business teams regarding negotiated contractual provisions, rights and obligations.

Requirements

• Proven working experience as purchasing manager, agent, or officer • Experience with sourcing, vendor management, supplier bids and contract negotiations • Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures • Solid judgement along with decision making skills • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills • Proven capability to handle multiple tasks as well as prioritize work • Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities • Ability to multitask and handle a large volume of IT Procurement events simultaneously
