Description

• Responsible for processing and managing payroll/HRIS system compliance. • Prepare pay entry for semi-monthly and bi-weekly payrolls. • Ensure hours are accurately submitted in the Paylocity system. • Maintain knowledge of payroll legislation affecting payroll. • Make adjustments for raises, bonuses, overtime, etc. • Set up new state and local taxes and ensure compliance. • Conduct regularly scheduled audits of Paylocity/payroll records.

Requirements

• Associate degree in business, finance, accounting or equivalent experience. • 2-4 years of experience with Paylocity payroll/HRIS system required. • Strong knowledge of multi-state tax and wage laws. • Understanding of common payroll procedures. • Experience with New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Ohio, and California state tax laws preferred. • Ability to operate independently and utilize data from various sources. • Advanced knowledge of MS Office with strong emphasis on Excel. • High level of internal motivation and attention to detail. • Strong interpersonal skills to provide superior customer service. • Detail oriented with organizational and prioritizing skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
