Description

β€’ Handle first party property cases from intake through trial or settlement. β€’ Develop case strategies and manage case progress. β€’ Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information. β€’ Conduct initial consultations and ongoing client meetings. β€’ Conduct thorough legal research. β€’ Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents. β€’ Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and depositions. β€’ Advocate passionately on behalf of clients in front of judges and juries. β€’ Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel. β€’ Prepare and participate in mediations and arbitrations. β€’ Work closely with paralegals and other support staff to ensure efficient case management. β€’ Participate in team meetings and contribute to firm strategy.

Requirements

β€’ Must be licensed to practice law in Mississippi. β€’ Experience in plaintiff litigation. β€’ Young attorneys with a demonstrated interest in a fast-paced organization. β€’ Strong communication and interpersonal skills. β€’ Excellent legal research and writing abilities. β€’ Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively. β€’ Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
