Our models and math secure over $46 billion in digital assets. • We measure, monitor, and tailor risk for over $775 million in managed vault strategies. • Gauntlet serves the most prolific, impactful on-chain spot trading, borrowing, lending, and derivatives protocols in crypto. • Our quantitative risk management helps solve the most novel challenges in crypto. • We are among the most-cited institutions in DeFi by peer-reviewed research. • Gauntlet has led the space since 2018 and raised over $45 million in capital. • Gauntlet is hiring a DeFi Analyst to expand our market insights and research. • We’re seeking a DeFi Analyst who can quantify and communicate key market dynamics. • This hybrid role blends on-chain data analysis, market research, and content creation. • You will analyze and report on market events with a quantitative lens. • Conduct on-chain and offchain data analysis, and contribute to marketing channels. • You will manage our DeFi analyst partner program and help curate community analysis. • You’ll leverage storytelling skills to create data visualizations for our offerings.

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in DeFi research, content, and/or data analysis • Fluent in data/analytics tools including but not limited to: Hex, Dune, Flipside, crypto market data APIs, DeFi Llama, Token Terminal, Nansen, Arkham, Github, Gitbook • Strong knowledge of tokenomics, smart contracts, ability to write complex SQL/Python queries and create data tables and visualizations, and common metrics (TVL, FDV, liquidity and risk metrics, etc.), protocol design • Familiarity with both EVM and non-EVM chains and infrastructure • You’ve worked in crypto: at a protocol, exchange, or as part of a community • Track record of success with a portfolio of writing, data analysis, and market commentary • You are terminally online, obsessed with CT and other crypto-native social channels • You understand DeFi and crypto culture as a member and participant • Extremely deep respect and knowledge of operational security best practices • Concise, compelling storyteller
