• The Process and Lean Operations leader is responsible to drive initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the New Product Introduction (NPI) Industrialization and Technology team using Lean methodology. • Interface with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, budgets and cross-functional initiative coordination. • High degree of visibility and representation in terms of driving organization execution for the overall team. • No direct reports for the role; required to work horizontally across the commodity teams, program managers, and horizontal functions within Gas Power. • Drive the productivity of the NPI industrialization team utilizing Lean processes to increase efficiency. • Implement tools and metrics to improve visibility to operational health and lean performance of the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) program (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of relatable work experience). • 6+ Years of relatable work experience. • Ability to act with humility: embrace culture of respect and active listening with a diverse team. • Ability to lead with transparency: embrace candor; share information to solve problems; develop team members. • Ability to deliver with focus: put safety first; prioritize and maximize impact; continuously improve processes while measuring success from the eyes of our customers. • Strategic mindset, anticipate issues and work to mitigate them for the entire organization. • High energy, self-starter, with a proven track record in delivering results. • Displays good interpersonal skills, accessible, approachable, and able to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization. • Solid understanding of the complexities of working in a matrix environment. • Experience in driving large initiatives in a multifunctional environment. • Knowledge of GE Power’s products, processes, and organizational structure. • Strong influencing skills and highly effective communicator with experience in presenting and interacting with leadership across multiple organizations. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
