• GE Vernova’s Power Conversion business provides electrification systems critical to customers’ power and energy needs. • The Marine Services Application Engineer will lead technical proposal development for services offerings to Marine segment customers. • Review customer technical requirements and apply GE Vernova Power Conversion solutions to ensure an optimized customer experience. • Maintain responsibility for the Power Conversion Marine Services solutions portfolio and lead development of technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent technical degree. • Minimum 8 years of work technical experience in the Controls & Automation or Power Conversion fields. • Direct engineering experience with large complex systems in the Marine segment. • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally. • Strong track record of working with cross-functional teams. • Strong technical knowledge of electrical solutions, including automation, low & medium-voltage motors, and variable speed drives. • Well-rounded business acumen – commercial, technical, and project management knowledge. • Experience developing and delivering technical solutions for marine customers, including Offshore segment, Merchant segment, United States Navy, and United States Coast Guard. • Graduate degree in Engineering (preferred). • Prior technical sales experience. • Strong project time management skills. • Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs. • Strong coordination and influencing skills. • Knowledge of customer financial drivers, CAPEX and OPEX. • Ability to utilize analytical software and sales tools (CMS, Excel, etc.). • Strong oral and written communication skills.
