Description
• Help drive our insurance business transformation as we transition from a traditional IT model to a tech organization with engineering excellence as its mission. • As our Sr. Communications Specialist, you will be pivotal in keeping our employees engaged and motivated as we continue to transform GEICO Tech and roll out new technologies to the business. • You will shape and implement our internal communications strategy, ensuring alignment and consistency across Field Engineering and the organization. • Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Business Engagement, you'll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on our growing team's communication landscape.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, a related field, or equivalent experience • At least 3 years' experience in internal communications in IT/Tech or a fast-paced environment • At least 1 year experience in developing and executing internal communication plans, including content creation, distribution and engagement analysis • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a knack for crafting clear and compelling messages tailored to diverse audiences • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to build and nurture relationships across all levels of the organization • Proven time and project management skills with experience managing projects spanning across multiple stakeholders • Ability to balance independent work with team collaboration to drive projects forward • Ability to analyze data to inform communication recommendations • Experience using APA style • Experience with Adobe (e.g., Photoshop)
