📋 Description

• GEICO is seeking a Staff Engineer to join our Workday Financials team. • Opportunity to build from the ground up and imprint on the future. • Design, development, testing and deployment of various types of integrations using Workday core toolset. • Help drive our insurance business transformation as we transition from a traditional IT model to a tech organization. • Be a key member of the engineering team, working to provide a friction-less experience to our customers. • Maintain the highest standards of protection and availability. • Deliver high quality technology products and services in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift quickly. • Manage system integrations within the Workday Financial system architecture. • Own the complete solution across its entire lifecycle. • Influence and build product vision with business stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience developing new and enhancing existing Workday integrations, PRISM lineages & Accounting Center processes with financial domain • Experience with Web Services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST and WS standards) • Strong technical experience with XML and XLST • Knowledge of Workday development tools (Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, BIRT) • Experience with designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining solutions for complex integrations • Expert at creating complex calculated fields • Experience with developing systems that are scalable, resilient, and highly available • Advanced understanding of monitoring concepts and tooling • Experience architecting and designing new and current systems • Strong problem-solving ability • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment • Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle (task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, real-time communication) • Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
