Description

• Play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile applications and the underlying microservices • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for Android and iOS applications using Espresso and XCUITest • Handle context switching between frontend and backend QA tasks as needed • Develop and maintain automated tests for backend microservices • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide testing feedback early • Implement and maintain QA processes, ensuring best practices • Monitor and analyse test results, providing detailed reports on bugs, issues, and opportunities for improvement • Lead efforts to ensure high test coverage and reduce manual testing by increasing automation • Participate actively in planning sessions to ensure test effort is considered • Build and maintain performance testing scenarios using K6 or a similar framework • Stay up-to-date with latest test automation tools and best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in QA, testing, and automation • Proven experience in full-stack QA automation, particularly for mobile applications (Android/iOS) and backend microservices • Strong proficiency in TypeScript for backend testing automation • Experience with performance testing tools like K6 (or similar frameworks) • Hands-on experience with Espresso for Android and XCUITest for iOS automation • Ability to effectively manage context switching between backend and frontend QA tasks • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab and Bitrise), version control, and DevOps practices • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail • Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Nice to have: Experience in fintech or financial services • Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Knowledge of container management and infrastructure as code (IAC) solutions like Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform • Strong understanding of mocking test dependencies and environments
