• Sauce is a premier restaurant technology platform that helps businesses grow with Commission-Free Delivery & Pickup. • Serving a 105 billion dollar US local restaurant business. • Looking for a Manual QA Engineer with basic automation skills. • Remote position reporting to the Manager, QA.
Requirements
• At least 5 years of manual QA experience • Strong API testing background • Proficient knowledge of REST API • Testing tools experience (Postman, DevTools, Fiddler/Charles Proxy, Swagger) • Experience in managing and delivering quality work in environments with shifting priorities • Basic experience with automation QA • Good understanding of QA processes and SDLC including agile methodologies • Familiarity with scripting and programming languages • Experience working with: • Logs and investigating incidents in the system • Test documentation (test plans, test cases, etc.) • Logs & metrics (DataDog, Sentry, etc.) • Problem-solving and effective communication • Enthusiastic about learning new technologies and systems • Able to organize yourself and work remotely • Ability to communicate fully in English (reading, writing, and verbally) • Ability to meet deadlines and shifting priorities • Resourceful, enthusiastic and self-motivated • Experience in production support (Would Be a Plus) • Work experience with startups (especially e-Commerce startups) • Experience with MongoDB & PostgreSQL (Would Be a Plus) • Experience with analyzing and testing data (Would Be a Plus)
