• The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will provide strategic, outbound and proactive sales for 6 multi-branded hotels. • Working within a fast-paced environment, Gillis’ culture offers dynamic training, ongoing coaching, and a deep commitment to employees. • Ability to travel for occasional in-market visits to elevate and strengthen client relationships.
• Hotel Industry Sales Experience: 3 or more consecutive years of hotel guestroom sales experience in business transient, crew, and government segments within a select service hotel. • 2 years of experience in a Dual or Area hotel sales role is preferred. • Strong understanding of hotel systems, RFP process, and brand tools. • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with hotel clients and team members. • General hotel operations knowledge. • Proven experience using a CRM system to manage your sales pipeline. • Strong ability to use all Microsoft Office applications (ie. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint). • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong organization, time management, and adaptability skills are essential.
